First email of 11th transfer!

Hello everyone! I know it has been awhile and for that I do apologize, but much has happened. For starters I left Como about 2 weeks ago. I was pretty sad... We had a good set-up in Como. I got along great with all the missionaries and I had to leave some of the first investigators that I had got to meet with on a pretty regular basis (they said they'd miss me btw). And we had to say goodbye to Sorella Watling as she went home to the Calabasas of England. Anyway I moved to Forlì. It's right next to Rimini where I was trained (our boarders touch but it's still like a 45 minute train ride). I was not the most excited about that but I did an exchange here once and met some members that I really enjoyed! And I wanted to go back to San Marino, so yay I guess! But I also had to remind myself it's really not about me anyone, it's where I'm needed. My comp and I are having a fun time while being here. We have never laughed so hard and have some constant pain for belly laughing all the time. And the Branch is even better that I could have thought! We have some great members, and surprisingly a good amount of young adults (I think like 3).We had Zone Conference which was really good. Our mission president became a little poet with some of the slogans we have such as:•"To grow the fold we need to be bold" •"Faith in the Lord we're building a ward" A little favour to ask in regaurds to the last one. As a mission our goal is to baptize the equivalent of the average amount of active members in a ward here in italy (75) during these past 3 months of the year. Our mission president told us to ask our friends and family members to go to the temple and put our names on the prayer roll. I think we actually have a chance of hitting this with the combined faith of family and friends at home (oh and we ask for prayers as well). Here in Forlì we have 2 friends on date to be baptized which will help towards the 25 a month needed to reach our goal. Random note our mission president is actually in Turkey right now....some Conference but it still feels weird. It feels like when the teacher leaves the classroom, you know? Love you and and hope everything is going well! Also fun little activity. I'm taking a brand new little book of Mormon and marking everytime it talks of Christ and highlighting every truth that stands out. It makes reading more of a game and I get a lot more out of it to! So if you want to try that may be fun.

June is already over! I feel like it is still supposed to be spring, how is it moving by so fast? These past couple of weeks have brought some of the biggest changes that I have seen. We have seen constant miracles and have grown so much here in Como! We took zone conference to heart, and we know that the Lord has prepared at least one person a day. And we have seen that tenfold (well okay not really but still a ton). And the weird thing is that I would say we have been putting in a similar amount of work, but the faith I had in my previous statement was just more true than ever. And this leads to some great things! We have had a woman chase after us asking if we could meet with her and her son. I have sat next to people on buses who said they ran into missionaries years ago and would like to meet some more. Visiting the Italy Milan Mission & bringing Jackson home -- Getting to Italy

Dad, Mom, Madi and Carson traveled to Italy to visit Jackson's mission, meet the people he had taught and served, and bring him home. This a complication of notes, pictures, social media posts and memories documenting the trip. Sorry it is a little disjointed as some is in first person, some third, some present tense and some past tense. Wednesday July 31st (social media post by Mom) On his very last day as a missionary, Anziano Puzey was still able to be the answer to prayer. This story is what I call a divine signature. When things so miraculously align that it feels as if Heavenly Father puts His signature to it saying ‘I’m here.’ He was out touring Milan for his last pday with another missionary who is waiting on his parents to get there and they ran into my childhood friend’s daughter. 1-2-3 Formaggio 🧀

Well last p-day was full so this is another bi-weekly update (what is the distinction between twice a week and once every two weeks?)  Last week was great! I was able to attend my first MLC (mission leadership conference). I was able to be officaly introduced to the mission as tech leader. I received ALL of our gear the night before, which means I was running around the metro system of Milan with a suitcase, a backpack with two tri-pods sticking out, a brief case, and a ring light being flung everywhere. I sure used my Italian telling everyone around me how sorry I was. We stayed the night with the Elders in Cimiano and in the morning we met up with the Cimiano sorelle and the other sisters they were hosting and played some spikeball and basktball. Not having planned for this I only had my pajamas and church shoes to play in. It was a pretty good outfit. It was so great getting to meet all the ZL's & STL's from across the mission seeing as I still feel like I don't know...
