End of June

June is already over! I feel like it is still supposed to be spring, how is it moving by so fast? These past couple of weeks have brought some of the biggest changes that I have seen. We have seen constant miracles and have grown so much here in Como! We took zone conference to heart, and we know that the Lord has prepared at least one person a day. And we have seen that tenfold (well okay not really but still a ton). And the weird thing is that I would say we have been putting in a similar amount of work, but the faith I had in my previous statement was just more true than ever. And this leads to some great things! We have had a woman chase after us asking if we could meet with her and her son. I have sat next to people on buses who said they ran into missionaries years ago and would like to meet some more. We were even approached on the train by a guy who said that he is just searching for this relationship with God like he hasn't had before.

Following the 2020 come follow me for the Book in the Mormon in Italian has also been very uplifting. This book is amazing! I especially have enjoyed the end of Ether and Moroni recently. The idea of miracles has been on my mind so much these past couple of weeks and we read in Ether 12 (specifically verse 12) That we need to have faith for God to perform these miracles! I also love (but secretly hate) that the true power and growth comes after the test of faith that we will face. One scripture and principal that I used to take issue with was that faith without works is dead. Maybe it was just how it was worded but I did not like it. How could someone say that, I mean after all some trials really are just hard. I felt like I was always in a place of "well yeah I believe, but I also doubt this will happen". Or even "yeah I have faith, but things like that don't happen to me, but only other people". The talk remember lot's wife (actually I think it is a BYU devotional) helped me to see it with more clarity. That we have faith and a hope that everything rests in the future. The future is greater than what we can imagine now.

So yeah in the end it has been a great couple of weeks! Also I wrote this really fast so I am not sure how much sense it makes. In the end my invite it to read Ether 12 (lots of good verses), listen to Remember Lot's Wife. Then do something that you would do if you had more faith, because that is how we GAIN more faith. A weird principal but effective. Oh also I don't have any new pictures but I will steal them from other missionaries for next time.

Oh some fun quick facts:
*We did get to have a blitz in Lugano which was really cool! Picture below with Anziano Moore.
*Said Blitz also cost me 26 dollars just to get to and from (someone please respond to this email telling me why Switzerland is so expensive)
*During that day I was also charged 4.50 francs for 2 donuts...it was supposed to be less than 2
*We took the fast boat on Lake Como for p-day today!
*I had unicorn gelato for the first time today....it was actually really good
*The GA sun has prepared me so well for the summer. I have not complained once about the heat (unless I am street contacting and the person complains because of course I join with them)
*It is official, people are beginning to find out I love transit systems, freeways, and especially the Milan Metro....I may listen to videos of people riding the Metro as my white noise ("La prossima fermata...the next-a station izzz...Duomo" #iykyk)
*I did forget to mention that at MLC there was a small group that would look at me because every time the metro went from the Lampugnano stop to Uruguay it would slightly vibrate and I couldn't help but smile

Okay those are all the random facts I could think of
Love you all! Have a great week!
