1-2-3 Formaggio 🧀

Well last p-day was full so this is another bi-weekly update (what is the distinction between twice a week and once every two weeks?) Last week was great! I was able to attend my first MLC (mission leadership conference). I was able to be officaly introduced to the mission as tech leader. I received ALL of our gear the night before, which means I was running around the metro system of Milan with a suitcase, a backpack with two tri-pods sticking out, a brief case, and a ring light being flung everywhere. I sure used my Italian telling everyone around me how sorry I was. We stayed the night with the Elders in Cimiano and in the morning we met up with the Cimiano sorelle and the other sisters they were hosting and played some spikeball and basktball. Not having planned for this I only had my pajamas and church shoes to play in. It was a pretty good outfit.

It was so great getting to meet all the ZL's & STL's from across the mission seeing as I still feel like I don't know too many people. I did feel like I was in a 500 level class as a freshman and pulled a Season 5 Rory Gilmore (#iykyk). On top of having some amazing training, kebab, and conversations, I was also able to hold Sorella Woods iphone for like 2 hours taking photos and videos. It felt like home. 

Then this past week was pretty crazy. Because we finally recieved all of our tech gear we hit the ground running. We filmed some things for our Facebook page (Grazie a Cristo), we set up our first ads (which are doing very very well), and we have helped missionaries and members utilize the tools we have been given to help further missionary work. 

We also had zone conference! It was a lot less lecture style and more break into groups and discuss which was really good. It is always good motivation to keep working hard each transfer and a much needed break from regular day to day task as well. We're also all looking forward to seeing when a temple in Milan will be announced, but I wouldn't bet on it being this conference. 

Speaking of which I am so excited for General conference coming up. I can't believe this is my second in the field, it doesn't feel like October was all that long ago. I feel so blessed to know we have a prophet today just like those we read about in scriptures that guides our church and is the true mouthpiece for our Heavenly Father.
