1-2-3 Formaggio 🧀

Well last p-day was full so this is another bi-weekly update (what is the distinction between twice a week and once every two weeks?)  Last week was great! I was able to attend my first MLC (mission leadership conference). I was able to be officaly introduced to the mission as tech leader. I received ALL of our gear the night before, which means I was running around the metro system of Milan with a suitcase, a backpack with two tri-pods sticking out, a brief case, and a ring light being flung everywhere. I sure used my Italian telling everyone around me how sorry I was. We stayed the night with the Elders in Cimiano and in the morning we met up with the Cimiano sorelle and the other sisters they were hosting and played some spikeball and basktball. Not having planned for this I only had my pajamas and church shoes to play in. It was a pretty good outfit. It was so great getting to meet all the ZL's & STL's from across the mission seeing as I still feel like I don't know...

The 5th transfer in the field begins! And me and my comp are both staying in our area! I was so torn before transfers, I've loved my time here and knew I could do another transfer. But this is already the longest I've had in just one place, and we now have 6 more weeks (although it is still just my second area so that is not too crazy). I'm looking forward to it though. Spring is starting to show and the grass is now green on the mountains.  It somewhat feels like a repeat of the last transfer especially when we got another call about tech. The sorella that was still in charge of most things left for home, and we are the replacements of everything. A large step up from what we were doing before. I'm looking forward to it though and we've already started to make content for our facebook and instagram. So we'll see how much more I learn about our camera in the next while.  We're still working with the same people this transfer as we were last transfer. And thi...

For the last p-day before transfers we are in Verona. I'm not sure if it's the weather, the sights, everyone else around us but it feels like we're really on vacation. That and it is far from our area and I haven't been able to sleep in my own bed since Saturday. On Monday I was on an exchange in Trento. By far the most exciting part was getting to visit my friend Corrado at his work (hoping I remember to attach the photo) he work at the main center that monitors the A22 (a freeway). They're mostly in charge of responding to emergencies, it looked just like a building out of a marvel movie.  Tuesday we went to Milan again. The 4th time dealing with our permit cards. This time we took the train instead of driving. I think they're tired of paying the gas and tolls it takes to get there. I never get tired of visiting but the emails do all sound the same. Not much happened in our actual area this week. We had a good lesson with our member Walter about the temple, an...

Week 28???

I am not actually sure about what week it is but I do know we only have 2 more weeks in this transfer! I can't fully remember every day of the past 2 weeks but I will try to remember some of my highlights. Our Tech role is going great! We had a training with all of the newest missionaries and taught them some facebook basics as well as ways to passive find. We've also heard great things from president and his wife about how happy they've been with the continued outcomes of the tech blitz from the last transfer and many zones have done their own every week since then!  We still have our friend Sury on date to be baptized but she's been busy so we haven't been able to meet much/ at all for like the past 3 weeks. Yeah not good. But we're still working and will see how we go.  Our other friend Daslin still hasn't made it to church. But we had another great lesson with her. I think my favorite part of our lessons are the question and answers where she shares the ...
