Hallo everyone!
This email is very rushed. I guess it's a good sign that time  is flying so fast!
We got to meet our branch at our Christmas party on Saturday (well some of them)! It was basically a family party with a couple extra people. It was so much fun. The Branch Presidents wife is also from Washington so we got along pretty well. Everyone was nice. The grandma of the family was kinda scary at first. Until I realized it's just her sense of humor. I was just impressed with the Puff family (they are basically the whole branch. And they run everything). They all speak English, German, and Italian. So playing bingo they call out the numbers 3 times to make sure everyone knows.
Then it was the big day. Sunday. I was asked to bless the Sacrament, no flying under the radar here. Fun fact: When you just have one tray for bread and one for water it means you get to bless the Sacrament all alone. And you have to show how bad your pronunciation is on your 4th day of learning German. The bread went okay but I didn't get a chance to read the water blessing ahead of time; as long as God understood what I was trying to say I think we're okay. 
The rest of the week flew by and I'm already out of time. In for another adventurous week this week. Merry Christmas.
I thought I would copy and past my "talk" from church. Which was just a short little spiritual thought. But again if you want to read it it will need to be translated.
Ho memorizzato il Cristo vivente in queste ultime settimane, e mi aiuta a crescere nel mio amore per il nostro salvatore. In "il Cristo vivente" si dice "Egli dette la Sua vita per espiare i peccati di tutta l'umanità. Il Suo sacrificio fu un grande dono fatto per procura in favore di tutti coloro che siano mai vissuti sulla terra." 
Sono così grato per l'espiazione di Gesù Cristo. l'espiazione è sufficiente per coprirci, trasformarci e aiutarci. È infinito ed eterno.
Nella mia vita l'espiazione mi ha portato pace e conforto anche nei momenti più difficili.
So che il suo vangelo è stato restaurato. 
So che questa è la sua chiesa.

I've memorized the living Christ these last
few weeks, and it helps me grow in my love for our savior. In "the living
Christ" it says "He gave His life to atone for the sins of all
mankind. His sacrifice was a great vicarious gift on behalf of all who ever
lived on earth."



I am so thankful for the Atonement of Jesus
Christ. the atonement is enough to cover us, transform us, and help us. It is
infinite and eternal.



In my life, the Atonement has brought me
peace and comfort even in the most difficult times.



I know his gospel has been restored.

Transfer 1 in Piacenza

Hello everybody! I know it's been forever but things have been so crazy here that it's been hard to even think about this email. As my last email said, I am now in Piacenza. This area is so far the craziest place that I've been, which is really nice. With not having the most time left I have tried my best to give this city my all. We are a branch here, but less than a year ago it was a ward. So we know its possible to get back haha. I know many people have been praying and helping so lets see what some of that looks like. •In the past transfer we have had 77 people from the street or referred agree to meet with us again! (Not saying they all did but they we're still taught a little bit more about Jesus Christ and his gospel) •We now currently have 3 people with a baptismal date (and a few more praying about a date) •we've had 35 people come join us in church over the past 6 Sundays •Many members have started returning after they took a break for awhile or just used ...

Temi & Israel

I have already written about the people who were baptized this past week but as a little reminder: Temi and her 3 kids were invited to come to church in the middle of Febuary and have come every week since. We were able to give her the Book of Mormon on that first Sunday and explain a few things about our church and set up a return appointment. Israel and her other sons found friends in the primary and, for the first time, found a church they wanted to keep coming back to. As they kept coming, they truly became a part of the branch and are known by all. They were baptized just a few days after Israel's 8th birthday and enjoyed celebrating with the whole branch. It was a great ceremony and it was so amazing seeing everyone come together. Our primary played a big role. We had them give a special musical number and a few kids talked about their baptismal experience. Christmas Tree is Up

Well, we only have one more week of this transfer. It is only 5 weeks. We will find out if I get a new companion soon. Things are going pretty well! We have our 2 friends on date to be baptized. One just passed their baptismal interview this week. The other has been a little harder to contact🙁...I also have an old friend, from when I was back in Bressanone that lives in Trento, who has decided to be baptized! He is my best friend here in Italy and I am so happy to see how close to Christ he feels! We are praying that I will be allowed to go be there for his baptism.  While this transfer was short, it is still surprising how fast it has be end of next transfer is in 2024. How are we already so close to the end of the remember? Starting 2023 and realizing, it would be the full year that I would be here in Italy. And it felt like a very daunting task.
