Week 4&5 September 16 2022
I've been sick this past week which has made many things pretty difficult. It can be hard to focus in class and have good studies both language and personal but I think it will finally be over soon. Just getting it all out of the way so that I can be healthy when I get to Italy. It would be an understatement to say I'm excited to leave for Italy. My language skills may still not be...good, but I'm ready to go.
We've had some great devotionals these past weeks. The first was by Elder and Sister Uchtdorf. And this past Tuesday was President and Sister Teixeira. Both were amazing. And it's been a great experience to be in the choir for both of the devotionals. Pretty sure someone told Elder Uchtdorf that there are alot of people going to European missions right now because his talk was very fitting. It was all about doing well the things that we can control. And to have a positive attitude; about everything. To be thankful for the 'almost' that we will have.
In sad news, my aunt and uncle that have been able to be with me here left today. They've been a huge blessing and I'm just grateful we got to be here together. I have some other friends leaving next week but it's been nice to have people here as long as I did. Just a reminder to count all the little blessings.
I think my favorite Italian phrase so far is "facciamo una pausa" because I get to rest my brain for 10 minutes and blow my nose.
Emails should get a lot more exciting in a few weeks, ciao until then.

Low quality picture of the football game but still a nice view.
