Visiting the Italy Milan Mission & bringing Jackson home -- Getting to Italy

Dad, Mom, Madi and Carson traveled to Italy to visit Jackson's mission, meet the people he had taught and served, and bring him home. This a complication of notes, pictures, social media posts and memories documenting the trip. Sorry it is a little disjointed as some is in first person, some third, some present tense and some past tense. Wednesday July 31st (social media post by Mom) On his very last day as a missionary, Anziano Puzey was still able to be the answer to prayer. This story is what I call a divine signature. When things so miraculously align that it feels as if Heavenly Father puts His signature to it saying ‘I’m here.’ He was out touring Milan for his last pday with another missionary who is waiting on his parents to get there and they ran into my childhood friend’s daughter. She is a classically trained violinist and she was there for a 3 week program. The program ended today and she had to make her way to a hotel in Milan on her own to fly home tomorrow (her progra...

Well this will be the last email sent out from my missionary email! I am currently at the mission office waiting for my family (well most of them) to arrive and pick me up. The past transfer was spent in Macerata. I don't remember if I have shared anything about it but it is the furthest city south in our mission. So far south that it is actually outside of my mission. I was able to see it really as a 6 week vacation, even if we did have to do a lot of work. There is only a group there. A group so new and so small that we would meet for church in our house. That's right every Sunday our living room turned into a chapel. Many of the members spoke spanish so I did not get the chance to get to know many. There was a half english woman named Maria, her and I became friends. I also became friends with a young guy named Christian who started coming back to church for the first time since he was about 13.
